MUSCAT: The Ministry of Labour has announced that Thursday, June 18, 2026, will be an official holiday on the occasion of the Hijri New Year 1448 AH.
The ministry said the announcement comes in line with the decision issued on December 28, 2025, regarding the dates of national and religious holidays for the year 2026.
The holiday will mark the beginning of the new Hijri year 1448 AH.
